Job summary

Dance Ontario in Toronto is seeking a Festival Runner to handle transportation, hospitality, signage, and production materials for all festival events. You will work closely with the Festival Coordinator and Senior Producer to identify and address production needs.

The role requires a Class G Ontario driver’s license, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced festival setting. Rate is $18–$35 per hour, based on duties and hours.

Qualifications

• Experience in events, festival environments, administration and talent coordination.
• Class G Ontario driver’s license with access to a vehicle.
• Highly organized and detail oriented with multitasking ability.
• Knowledge of downtown Toronto is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Act as transportation contact for production and admin materials across Festival venues.
• Manage merchandise/signage order pick-ups and deliveries.
• Execute pickups and deliveries of hospitality as needed.
• Coordinate with Company Managers to greet artists and dance companies at hotels/airport.
• Support front-of-house setup and strike as needed.
• Liaise with Festival team on Front of House considerations.
• Interact with artists and respond to inquiries from Festival team.
