Dance Ontario in Toronto is seeking a Festival Runner to handle transportation, hospitality, signage, and production materials for all festival events. You will work closely with the Festival Coordinator and Senior Producer to identify and address production needs.
The role requires a Class G Ontario driver’s license, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced festival setting. Rate is $18–$35 per hour, based on duties and hours.
Approximately 100 hours, broken down as follows:
October 5 – 9 (approx. 10 hours)
October 12 – 25 (festival weeks, full time. approx. 80 hours)
5-10 hours of wrap up post festival
Fee: Two Thousand Canadian Dollars $2,500 + HST (as applicable). Festival Runner will receive any reimbursements for travel/parking or any out of pocket expenses in alignment with FFDN’s Expense Policy.
The Festival Runner will be responsible for the transportation and coordination of supplies, hospitality, signage, and other production materials related to the all Festival events. This may include pick-up and delivery of materials, artist liaisons and airport greetings, and supporting both back-of-house and front-of-house set-up and strike. This role will work closely with the Festival Coordinator and Senior Producer to identify general administrative and production needs within the festival.
