Job summary

BGO is seeking a Vice President, Property Management in Toronto to lead residential operations and performance, oversee budgets, KPI tracking, and client objectives. This senior role reports to the Managing Director, Residential Services and guides regional leaders across the residential portfolio.

Qualifications

• University degree combined with relevant experience.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive property management/real estate operations experience.
• CPM and/or CMRAO designation is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for residential property management operations, including general operations, maintenance, resident experience, administration, capital management and financial performance.
• Lead the preparation and review of strategic business and operating plans for residential properties and identify opportunities to improve operational and financial performance.
• Provide leadership to Directors, Regional Property Managers and other senior property management leaders within the assigned scope.
• Ensure accountability for financial results and KPIs against annual budgets and established targets.
• Drive improvements in property financial performance through analysis of property operations, leasing and marketing activity, rental rates, vacancies, and operating expenses.
• Lead the review and enhancement of operating practices, policies and procedures and develop new processes where required.
• Ensure strong resident communications and relations and maintain appropriate service standards across the residential portfolio.
• Ensure compliance with applicable property legislation and regulations and BGO policies and procedures.
