Job summary

BGO is a global real estate investment management company seeking a hands-on Residential Property Manager to lead a rental group in Toronto, overseeing operations, financials, and resident relations to maximize asset value. This onsite role requires proactive leadership in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of residential property management experience, CPM or real estate education, and proficiency with Yardi and MS Office.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of residential property management experience.
• Post-secondary education in real estate or CPM designation preferred.
• Proficient with Yardi and MS Office (Word/Excel/Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day property operations, ensuring high standards of service, maintenance, and resident satisfaction.
• Manage resident relations, requests, complaints, emergencies, and lease renewals.
• Supervise site staff and support performance management and policy compliance.
• Manage property financial performance including budgets, expenses, revenue, reporting, and capital planning.
• Oversee leasing, rent collection, arrears, applications, renewals, and move-in/move-out processes.
• Monitor market conditions and revenue opportunities to improve property performance.
• Coordinate maintenance, repairs, capital projects, vendors, inspections, and preventative maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with laws, policies, health and safety, and emergency procedures.
• Maintain property records using management systems and conduct audits.
• Support sustainability initiatives including energy efficiency and community engagement.
