Job summary

The Home Depot Canada is seeking a proactive Laboratory Technician to support quality and testing operations in an agricultural processing environment in Lethbridge. You will perform laboratory testing to verify product quality and ensure compliance with standards.

This full-time on-site role requires a High School Diploma, basic lab experience, attention to detail, and strong Excel skills. You will collect, prepare, analyze samples, record results, maintain equipment, and assist with seed

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (required)
• Basic laboratory or quality-related experience
• Strong attention to detail and ability to double-check work
• QA or seed sample processing experience considered an asset
• Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Excel
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Valid Driver’s License
• Comfortable working around chemicals, dust, and in varying environmental conditions
• Physically able to perform repetitive tasks, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in elevated areas

• Accurately collect, prepare, and analyze samples for evaluation
• Record and validate test results with a strong focus on accuracy and consistency
• Maintain lab equipment, supplies, cleanliness, and safe working conditions
• Prepare solutions and handle chemicals following safety protocols
• Support quality assurance activities, including seed sample processing
• Communicate findings, irregularities, or concerns to supervisors
• Follow laboratory procedures and contribute to process improvements
• Assist with testing new processes or products when required
