Timber-Tech is looking for skilled Truss Stackers to join their team in Lethbridge. This is a full-time position, typically hours of work are 6:00am-4:30pm Monday-Friday. The starting wage ranges from $18.00 to $22.00 depending on experience levels. A full benefits package is available following a successful probation period. In this physically demanding role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring our trusses are handled safely and efficiently from the end of the assembly line to final staging for delivery.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Safely lift, move, and stack completed wood trusses by hand or with material-handling equipment, according to size and order requirements.
  • Visually inspect trusses for obvious defects or damage before stacking. Ensure accurate labeling and placement of order tags.
  • Use banding tools or other securing methods to bundle trusses for stability and safe transport.
  • Assist with moving trusses to appropriate yard locations using dollies, carts, or forklifts (if trained). Help keep the yard organized and clear of obstructions.
  • Work closely with the assembly and shipping teams to confirm orders are complete and ready for delivery. Communicate any issues with damaged or incomplete trusses.
  • Work safely and keep the work area clean.
  • Report any unsafe or hazardous condition or situation.
  • wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Follow the company Health and Safety and Quality policies, processes, procedures
  • Participate in scheduled area inspections using inspection checklist forms.
  • Assist with cleanup, minor repairs, and other shop or yard tasks as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Physically fit and able to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly.
  • Valid forklift certification.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently.
  • A team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Previous experience in a truss plant, lumber yard, or construction environment is an asset.
