Job summary

Parrish & Heimbecker, Limited (P&H) invites applications for a Lab Technician Assistant in Winnipeg, MB within the Grain & Crop Inputs division. The role supports the Quality Control team by assisting with tests and recording results for grain samples.

Responsibilities include sample preparation, data logging, and routine equipment checks. Availability August–December 2026, Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m., with possible overtime or weekend hours.

Your Team

Grain & Crop Inputs: The Grain & Crop Inputs Division connects Canadian farmers to markets across the country and beyond. With a network of grain elevators, terminals, and agri-retail locations, we provide crop inputs, agronomic solutions, and grain marketing expertise to help producers succeed.

As Lab Technician Assistant, the successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the various tests and procedures required to accurately grade the quality and condition of grain samples for growers, traders and P&H’s various facilities. This position will assist the Quality Control Manager and Lab Technicians with additional duties as assigned.

The Lab Technician Assistant is a full time, contract role. You must be available to work from August to December 2026, Monday to Friday starting at 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. with occasional overtime or weekend hours.
