Job summary

Magna Powertrain in Ontario, Canada, invites a seasoned tool & die maker to join our night shift. You will build and maintain dies, troubleshoot to meet rates, and manage spare parts while contributing to continuous improvement across our powertrain tooling operations. The role demands precise GD&T, metrology, and CNC programming expertise.

Qualifications

• Strong English language communication skills and independent problem solving.
• Grade 12 education with a college apprenticeship or European equivalent.
• Ontario tool & die maker certificate or master certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain tools as defined by toolroom manager.
• Develop new dies and troubleshoot to meet quoted rates.
• Manage spare parts inventory and contribute to continuous improvement.
