Job summary

Fountain Tire London Westmount on Wonderland Road S. is seeking a responsible Automotive Tire Technician for a temporary fall-season assignment. You will join a team that values safety, quality, and customer service while learning from experienced colleagues.

The role includes tire installation, balancing, TPMS work, and daily equipment maintenance. Training is provided; prior tire experience helps but is not required. A valid driver's license and strong attention to detail are important.

Qualifications

• Previous tire experience is a plus, but training is provided.
• Knowledge of tires, wheels and TPMS is helpful.
• Customer-focused with ability to build relationships.

Responsibilities

• Install, balance, rotate, and repair tires and wheels for passenger/light trucks.
• Reset TPMS and perform tire-related repairs.
• Maintain tire service equipment on a regular schedule.
• Complete specialty tire work (e.g., run flat, nitrogen).
• Assist in inventory management and annual counts; uphold safety.

Overview

Fountain Tire London Westmount (480 Wonderland Road S.), an established automotive repair shop, is looking for a responsible, safe, and dedicated associate to join our team as an Automotive Tire Technician!

Please note: This is a temporary position to provide support for the busy fall season

You will be responsible for:

• Installing, balancing, rotating, and repairing passenger and light truck tires and wheels
• Resetting and repairing tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS)
• Maintaining tire service equipment on a regularly scheduled basis
• Completing specialty tire work which could include run flat, nitrogen, etc.
• Assist in inventory management through documentation processes and annual inventory countsThe responsibility to keep yourself and your coworkers safe

What does it take to get on track?

• Someone with previous experience would be great, however we are willing to train motivated individuals with a positive attitude
• A working knowledge of passenger and light truck tires, specialty tire services and wheels is an asset
• A customer-service focus with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with team members and customers
• A keen attention to detail
• Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license and provide a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to consistently lift 25 kilograms
