Job summary

Fountain Tire Huntsville is seeking a dedicated Automotive Tire Technician to join our team. You will install, balance, rotate, and repair tires for passenger and light trucks, while maintaining TPMS and equipment. The role offers training and advancement within a supportive, safety‑minded shop.

Qualifications

• Experience with passenger and light truck tires and wheels.
• Strong customer service and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn and train on new equipment and processes.
• Ability to lift up to 25 kilograms (55 pounds) regularly.

Responsibilities

• Install, balance, rotate, and repair passenger and light truck tires and wheels.
• Reset and repair TPMS (tire pressure monitoring systems).
• Maintain tire service equipment on a regular schedule.
• Complete specialty tire work (studding, retread, run flat, nitrogen, etc.).
• Assist in inventory management and annual counts.
• Keep yourself and coworkers safe while performing duties.

Fountain Tire Huntsville, an established automotive repair shop, is looking for a responsible, safe, and dedicated associate to join our team as an Automotive Tire Technician!

You will be responsible for:

• Installing, balancing, rotating, and repairing passenger and light truck tires and wheels
• Resetting and repairing tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS)
• Maintaining tire service equipment on a regularly scheduled basis
• Completing specialty tire work which could include studding, retread, run flat, nitrogen, etc.
• Assist in inventory management through documentation processes and annual inventory counts
• The responsibility to keep yourself and your coworkers safe

What does it take to get on track?

• Someone with previous experience would be great, however we are willing to train motivated individuals with a positive attitude
• A working knowledge of passenger and light truck tires, specialty tire services and wheels is an asset
• A customer-service focus with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with team members and customers
• A keen attention to detail
• Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license and provide a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to consistently lift 25 kilograms
