Job summary

Kal Tire in Timmins, Canada is seeking a Tire Technician to support daily shop service work, installing, repairing and maintaining tires while helping keep operations running smoothly. This temporary role offers full-time and part-time hours for the contract duration, with a hands-on training approach and a safety-first team environment.

You will work in a fast-paced setting, with shifts that may include weekends, and be part of a team that values reliability and practical problem solving.

Qualifications

• Previous tire technician or automotive experience or training is preferred.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift 30-50 lbs repeatedly and stay active throughout the shift.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Team-oriented with a practical, safety-first approach.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Install, remove, rotate, balance, and repair tires.
• Safely operate tire service equipment and tools.
• Inspect tires and vehicles to identify required services.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all safety procedures and use PPE at all times.
• Support the team to keep workflow efficient and on schedule.
