Job summary

Kal Tire in Kirkland Lake, Ontario is seeking a Tire Technician to join a hands-on, safety-focused shop team. You will install, rotate, balance, and repair tires while supporting daily service work and maintaining a clean, organized workspace.

The role offers temporary, full-time or part-time hours with on-site training and opportunities to gain experience in the automotive industry. Store hours apply, with potential weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous tire technician or automotive experience or training is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs repeatedly and stay active throughout the shift.
• Team-oriented with a safety-first approach.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.

As a Tire Technician, you’ll support the day-to-day service work in the shop, installing, repairing, and maintaining tires while helping keep operations running smoothly. This is a temporary position with full-time and part-time hours available for the duration of the contract.

Store Details

• Hours of Operation:
  • Monday to Friday: 7:30 - 18:00
  • Saturday: 8:00 - 17:00
  • Sunday: Closed
• Multiple Training Dates Starting: September 14, 2026

Shifts will be scheduled within store operating hours and may include weekends.
