Job summary

Kal Tire in New Minas, NS is seeking a Tire Technician to join a safety‑minded team. You will install, remove, rotate, balance and repair tires, while keeping the shop organized and productive.

This temporary full‑time/part‑time role offers hands‑on training, competitive hourly pay, and opportunities to gain experience in the automotive industry. You’ll work with a supportive team on a schedule that may include weekends, and must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and pass safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous tire technician or automotive experience or training is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs repeatedly and stay active during shift.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Team-oriented with a safety-first approach.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

As a Tire Technician, you’ll support the day-to-day service work in the shop, installing, repairing, and maintaining tires while helping keep operations running smoothly. This is a temporary position with full-time and part-time hours available for the duration of the contract.

  • Saturday: 8:00 - 17:00
  • Sunday: Closed
• Multiple Training Dates Starting: September 14, 2026

Shifts will be scheduled within store operating hours and may include weekends.
