Kal Tire in Fort St. John, BC is seeking a Tire Technician to join our hands-on shop team. You will install, remove, rotate, balance, and repair tires and support daily service work in a fast-paced environment.

The role is temporary with full-time and part-time hours available for the contract duration, offering hands-on training, a safety-focused team, and a chance to gain meaningful experience in the automotive industry.

Qualifications

• Previous tire technician or automotive experience or training is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs repeatedly and stay active throughout the shift.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Team-oriented with a practical, safety-first approach.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Install, remove, rotate, balance, and repair tires.
• Safely operate tire service equipment and tools.
• Inspect tires and vehicles to identify required services.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all safety procedures and use PPE at all times.
• Support the team to keep workflow efficient and on schedule.
