Job summary

Kal Tire in Hearst, Ontario, is hiring a Tire Technician to support day-to-day shop service work, including installing, repairing, and maintaining tires. This is a temporary, full- or part-time position with hours for the contract duration.

You will be part of a safety-focused team that values accuracy and teamwork while delivering quality service to customers. Training is provided to build confidence and practical skills.

Qualifications

• Previous tire technician or automotive experience or training is preferred
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs repeatedly and stay active throughout the shift
• Strong attention to detail and reliability
• Team-oriented with a practical, safety-first approach
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Install, remove, rotate, balance, and repair tires
• Safely operate tire service equipment and tools
• Inspect tires and vehicles to identify required services
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all safety procedures and use PPE at all times
• Support the team to keep workflow efficient and on schedule
