Job summary

Fountain Tire Calgary (Westbrook) is hiring Automotive Tire Technicians to join a friendly, safety‑conscious team. Earn $18–$22/hour with benefits, RRSP matching, and onboarding training to advance within the company.

Regular day shifts with potential overtime during peak seasons; discounts on tires, parts, and services across Fountain Tire locations. The role involves installing, balancing, rotating, and repairing tires, TPMS work, and equipment maintenance.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
• Basic computer skills for documentation.
• Physical ability to lift 25 kilograms consistently.

Responsibilities

• Install, balance, rotate, and repair tires and wheels for passengers and light trucks.
• Reset and repair TPMS and related systems.
• Maintain tire service equipment on a schedule.
• Perform specialty tire work (studding, retread, run flat, nitrogen).
• Assist inventory through documentation and counts.
• Maintain a safe work environment for yourself and coworkers.

Fountain Tire Calgary (Westbrook), an established automotive repair shop, is looking for responsible and motivated individuals to join our team as Automotive Tire Technicians!

You will be responsible for

• Installing, balancing, rotating, and repairing passenger and light truck tires and wheels
• Resetting and repairing tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS)
• Maintaining tire service equipment on a regularly scheduled basis
• Completing specialty tire work which could include studding, retread, run flat, nitrogen, etc.
• Assist in inventory management through documentation processes and annual inventory counts
• The responsibility to keep yourself and your coworkers safe

What does it take to get on track?

• Previous experience as a Tire Technician in an automotive shop is an asset
• A working knowledge of passenger and light truck tires, specialty tire services and wheels is an asset
• A customer-service focus with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with team members and customers
• A keen attention to detail
• Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license and provide a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to consistently lift 25 kilograms
