Job summary

Bray Motors Ltd. in Sundridge, Ontario is seeking a Tire & Lube Technician to join our service team. This full-time, permanent role offers a Monday to Friday schedule with no weekends, focusing on routine maintenance and tire services.

You will perform oil changes, tire mounting, balancing, inspections, and support colleagues while upholding safety and quality standards. Compensation ranges from $18.00 to $23.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience as a quick-lube tech, tire technician, or automotive apprentice preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Attention to detail to ensure work is done right the first time.
• Brand and team commitment to Bray Motors' service quality.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for 8 hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine lube, oil, and filter changes per manufacturer specs.
• Mount, balance, rotate, repair, and install seasonal tires.
• Conduct basic multi-point inspections of fluids, wipers, lights, battery health, tire tread depth and air pressure.
• Maintain a clean, safe shop and proper disposal of fluids and hazardous materials.
• Document completed work on repair orders and assist service advisors and technicians.

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8-hour daily shifts (No weekends)

Compensation: $18.00 – $23.00 per hour (commensurate with experience)

We are currently partnering with Employment North to find a dedicated, quality-focused Tire & Lube Technician to join our service team.

Key Responsibilities

• Vehicle Maintenance & Service: Perform routine lube, oil, and filter changes following vehicle manufacturer specifications.

• Tire Services: Mount, balance, rotate, repair, and install seasonal tires across a wide variety of passenger cars and light trucks.

• Basic Multi-Point Inspections: Conduct initial vehicle checkups, inspecting fluid levels, wiper blades, lights, battery health, tire tread depth, and air pressure to identify potential safety or repair needs.

• Workplace Safety & Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment, ensuring proper disposal of fluids and hazardous materials in compliance with safety regulations.

• Customer & Team Support: Document completed work clearly on repair orders and collaborate effectively with service advisors and licensed technicians.

Qualifications & Core Requirements

• Experience: Prior experience as a quick-lube tech, tire technician, or automotive apprentice is preferred, but passionate candidates with strong mechanical aptitude are encouraged to apply.

• Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record to move customer vehicles safely around the shop and lot.

• Attention to Detail: High standard of accuracy to ensure vehicle maintenance is done right the first time.

• Physical Capability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs comfortably (tires, rims, heavy equipment) and stand/bend throughout an 8-hour shift.
