Job summary

Brampton North Nissan is seeking a reliable Lube Technician to join our dynamic service team. You will help perform oil changes, filter changes, tire checks and fluid top-ups, ensuring vehicles meet our quality standards before delivery.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in an automotive dealership, holds a valid Ontario driver's license and can work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude. We offer strong management support, health benefits and employee events.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of 1 year work experience in an automotive dealership is required.
• Must have a valid Ontario Driver's License and good driving record.
• Mechanical aptitude and interest.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist in performing oil changes, filter changes, checking tires, replenishing vehicle fluids.
• Conduct testing on car tire pressure and add air as needed.
• Perform final checks on all vehicles before sending it to the customer.
• Follow work order procedures and company policies.
• Clean the interior, replace wiper blades, install car batteries and rotate tires.
• Initiate visual inspections to ensure standards are met.

Here’s what you’ll deliver:

• Assist in performing oil changes, filter changes, checking tires, replenishing vehicle fluids.
• Conduct testing on car tire pressure and add air as needed.
• Perform final checks on all vehicles before sending it to the customer.
• Ensure to follow work order procedures, along with the other company policies and procedures.
• Clean a vehicle's interior, replacing wiper blades, installing car batteries and performing tire rotations.
• Initiate visual inspections of the inside and outside of the vehicle once all tasks are completed to ensure that the product meets customer and company standards.
• Prioritize maintaining the cleanliness of the shop area at all times.
• Clean bay and bench at the end of each shift.
• Dispose of garbage, recycling, etc., as required.
• Ability to work in adherence to company safety standards at all times.
• Comply with all company policies, standards and procedures.
• Other duties as required by management.

What you need to succeed:

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• A minimum of 1 year work experience in an automotive dealership is required.
• Must have a valid Ontario Driver's License and good driving record.
• Mechanical aptitude and interest.
• Strong attention to detail will be required.
• Ability to perform multiple duties in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.

• Follows dealership and manufacturer service guidelines.
• Proven knowledge and experience with automotive mechanical operations.
• Demonstrated ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
• Ability to work flexible hours and work around a changing schedule.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items (50-75 lbs).

Job Type: Full Time - Permanent

Compensation (expected hourly wage): $18.00 - $22.00 per hour. The starting rate will be set within this range based on job-related factors such as relevant skills and experience.
