Job summary

Fountain Tire High River is looking for a responsible, safe, and motivated Tire/Lube Technician to join our automotive repair team. You will install, balance, rotate and repair tires on passenger and light trucks, and service TPMS with care.

• Previous experience is helpful, but we will train motivated individuals.
• Working knowledge of passenger and light truck tires is an asset.
• Customer-service focus and ability to build relationships with customers and team.

Responsibilities

• Install, balance, rotate, and repair tires and wheels for passenger and light trucks.
• Reset TPMS sensors and maintain tire service equipment.
• Perform specialty tire work (studding, retread, run flat, nitrogen).
• Assist with inventory and participate in annual counts.
• Maintain a safe work environment for self and teammates.

You will be responsible for

• Installing, balancing, rotating, and repairing passenger and light truck tires and wheels
• Resetting and repairing tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS)
• Maintaining tire service equipment on a regularly scheduled basis
• Completing specialty tire work which could include studding, retread, run flat, nitrogen, etc.
• Assist in inventory management through documentation processes and annual inventory counts
• The responsibility to keep yourself and your coworkers safe

What does it take to get on track?

• Someone with previous experience would be great, however we are willing to train motivated individuals with a positive attitude
• A working knowledge of passenger and light truck tires, specialty tire services and wheels is an asset
• A customer-service focus with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with team members and customers
• A keen attention to detail
• Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license and provide a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to consistently lift 25 kilograms
