Job summary

Weir Minerals is seeking a seasoned Time & Attendance configuration lead to drive the North American rollout of payroll and workforce management configurations. You will translate complex business rules into system configurations, collaborate with Payroll, HR, IT, and operations, and guide the design, build, migration, and validation activities.

This remote contract role emphasizes stakeholder collaboration, comprehensive testing, and knowledge transfer to teams across Canada and the region.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing Time & Attendance or Workforce Management in Canadian payroll environments.
• Translate business requirements into configured WFM solutions and support design with partners.
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops and work with geographically dispersed teams.
• Experience with testing, validation, and deployment in system implementations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing Time & Attendance configurations, pay rules, work rules, schedules, accruals, and calendars; document current-state behavior.
• Lead workshops with Payroll, HR, Operations, IT, and business stakeholders to validate requirements and translate needs into specs.
• Lead configuration across North America for pay rules, work rules, shift differentials, overtime, schedules, and attendance policies.
• Collaborate with vendors to ensure configurations align with payroll and operational needs.
• Support knowledge transfer, training materials, cutover planning, and go-live readiness activities.
• Demonstrate commitment to safety and zero-harm practices in daily work.
