Job summary

Compass Group Canada (Beaver) Ltd. is seeking a Food Service Supervisor to oversee multiple food service units. You will supervise staff, coordinate scheduling, hire and train associates, and work with Shift Managers to ensure smooth service and accurate cash readings.

You will uphold Compass’ Quality Assurance, Health and Safety, WHMIS, and HACCP standards, and help manage inventories, labour and food costs while delivering excellent customer service to café patrons.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of strong operation food industry management experience.
• Comprehensive health and safety knowledge and training.
• Knowledge of food service catering.
• Strong supervisory skills and the capability to motivate and lead staff.
• Employee relations experience in a unionized environment is an asset.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office.

• Ensure HACCP standards are followed in the food preparation process.
