The Salvation Army Canada and Bermuda Territory is seeking a full-time Store Associate at our Richmond Hill location. The role supports the Store Manager in daily thrift store operations, assists customers and donors, handles cash/debit sales, and contributes to inventory, merchandising, and cleanliness to ensure a welcoming shopping environment.

Ideal candidates have at least two years in a store/warehouse setting, demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, and can lead in the manager's absence.

Qualifications

• Proven interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Physical ability to lift up to 30 lbs frequently.
• Basic cash and debit handling skills.

Responsabilités

• Interact with customers/donors in a positive, friendly, and courteous manner.
• Process cash and debit sales accurately.
• Assist with inventory, stocking, and merchandising to attract customers.
• Provide on-the-job training to staff when needed.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety.
