Job summary

The Salvation Army in Ingersoll, Ontario is seeking a part-time Thrift Store Worker to support donation processing and customer service at 48 Charles Street West, Unit 2.

You will assist in unloading and sorting donations, stocking shelves, and helping customers while upholding store policies and safety standards. A minimum of three months in warehousing or distribution is preferred, with basic cash handling experience. Steel-toe boots are required and hours vary across the week.

Qualifications

• Completion of Secondary School or equivalent.
• Minimum three months of related warehouse or distribution experience.
• Experience with cash register and payment processing is a plus.
• Brand awareness is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Assist in reclamation, processing or distribution of donated goods.
• Provide friendly customer service and interact with donors.
• Sort, stock, price and display items per store policy.
• Help meet store sales targets and maintain safety.
