Job summary

The Salvation Army International is seeking a part-time thrift store associate in Canada to deliver friendly customer service, process donations, and support daily retail operations. You will help with pricing, stocking, and cashier duties, ensuring accurate transactions and adherence to store policies.

You will contribute to inventory control, merchandising, and safe handling of items while working with a team to meet sales targets and maintain an inviting store environment.

Qualifications

• Completion of some high school coursework.
• Alternative combinations of education and experience may be considered.
• A few months of experience in processing or distribution of goods or customer service.
• Knowledge of lifting guidelines is preferred.
• Cash handling experience is required.
• Experience with cash registers and related processes (bank deposits, reports).
• Product brand awareness is an asset.
• Experience in a computerized environment.
