Job summary

Leon’s Furniture Limited (LFL Group) in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, is seeking a TGS Furniture Technician to assemble, repair, and maintain a wide range of furniture items in line with drawings and company standards to meet customer expectations.

You will collaborate with production and design teams, ensure safety, supervise junior technicians as needed, and uphold quality control while delivering durable, reliable furniture across Canada.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven furniture assembly/repair experience.
• Basic knowledge of woodworking tools, machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.

Responsibilities

• Assemble furniture components according to technical drawings and specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various types of furniture to ensure longevity and functionality.
• Inspect finished products for defects or inconsistencies and coordinate with quality control teams to address any issues.

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all safety guidelines and company policies.
• Manage inventory of tools, parts, and materials required for furniture assembly and repair.
