Arlo Technologies Canada Limited is seeking a Software Test Co-op Student for a 12-month term from September 2025 to August 2026. This role involves executing tests on innovative IP cameras and home automation products, assisting with quality assurance, and developing automated testing tools. Applicants should be enrolled in a co-op program and possess relevant technical skills to support the Software Test team.

Duration: 12-month co-op student term from September 2025 to August 2026.
Arlo is looking for a top student with strong interest in product testing a complex product that includes multiple clients, embedded firmware, and cloud storage . The Software Test team is responsible for validation and quality assurance of new products, new technologies , and new features.
This work term with Arlo offers exposure to:
State-of-the-art IP cameras and home automation products
Standard test methodology and techniques
Responsibilities:
Execute manual and automated tests based on customer requirements
Write clear bug reports for any software defects discovered during testing
Assist development teams with troubleshooting customer or field issues
Analyze software defects and verify bug fixes
Develop and maintain automated test tools
Create test plans and write test reports
Job Requirements:
Attention to detail and technical curiosity
Experience in executing moderate to complex test cases
Strong written and oral communication skills
Software test development, programming, or scripting experience
Knowledge of data communication, networking, and protocols
Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment

We will only be accepting applicants from students currently registered in a co-op program with the University of British Columbia, Simon Fraser University or the University of Victoria . Applicants must be eligible to work in Canada.
The pay range for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries at commencement of employment and is expected to be between CAD$3,700 - $4,000/month . However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including role, job-related knowledge, skills, relevant education and experience .
