Job summary

Both strategic and tactical, we help organizations across a wide range of industries thrive in today’s rapidly evolving world.## Our promiseHelp our clients succeed and maximize the impact of their transformation initiatives, turning them into powerful drivers of growth and innovation.## Job description**Here's a brief overview of the tasks and responsibilities you'll have :** • Develop and modify test software applications for satellite payloads in a Windows environment using Python; • Analyze and understand detailed specification and requirements documents; • Plan the implementation activities, estimate the effort required and ensure the delivery of the work; • Design, program, test, debug, and document high-quality software applications; • Collaborate as part of an agile development team using best practices; • Write and adapt Python applications according to the needs of the project; • Prepare technical documentation and participate in reviews; • Participate in the integration, testing and deployment of software applications; • Support problem resolution in a production environment; • Understand the systems under testing and how they work. **The profile you are looking for is as follows:** • Have a university degree in software engineering, computer science or any other relevant discipline, or have an equivalent combination of education and experience; • Have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in testing software development; • Have the ability to scale within an existing codebase and framework; • Master the concepts of multithreading, data sharing, and application programming interfaces (APIs); • Know Python and C++; • Demonstrate the ability to understand and exploit complex software specifications; • Experience with agile development methodologies; • Possess good oral and written communication skills in French and English; • Have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in application testing; • Have a minimum of three (3) years of experience in verification and validation (V&V) using Python; • Have a minimum of one (1) year of experience in verification and validation (V&V) on embedded systems; • Master the use of PyCharm; • Collaborate effectively as part of an agile Scrum team; • Knowledge of DO-178 standards (an asset); • Knowledge of CCSDS and MIL-STD-1553 (an asset); • Proficient in protocols such as CAN bus and SpaceWire (an asset); • Experience with JIRA and Confluence (an asset); • Use VS Code in a development context (an asset); • Experience with Git and Jenkins (an asset); • Experience in instrument control and automated functional testing of systems (an asset); • Obtain Controlled Goods Program (CGP) accreditation and a Secret security clearance; • This position requires fluency in French and English for daily tasks, understanding documentation, and professional communication with customers, suppliers, and colleagues across Canada.
