Job summary

COFOMO in Montreal is seeking a Business and Systems Advisor to support transformation initiatives. The role blends business analysis with agile and product management, working within a hybrid setup to drive process harmonization and system improvements.

You will collect and document needs, translate them into functional requirements, and collaborate with stakeholders across departments to ensure successful delivery of solutions.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of eight years of experience as a business analyst, business advisor or functional analyst.
• Experience in complex transformation or information systems projects.
• Participation in multiple project lifecycle phases (analysis, design, implementation, testing, stabilization).
• Ability to model, analyze, document, validate and trace requirements.

Both strategic and tactical, we help organizations across a wide range of industries thrive in today’s rapidly evolving world.## Our promiseHelp our clients succeed and maximize the impact of their transformation initiatives, turning them into powerful drivers of growth and innovation.## Job description**Here's a brief overview of the tasks and responsibilities you'll have :** • Familiarize yourself with the work done and quickly integrate into an ongoing project team; • Participate in workshops with business partners, project teams, suppliers and technology teams; • Analyze and document the processes, roles, systems, business rules and issues of the current situation; • Develop and harmonize current and targeted business processes; • Collect, structure, complete and prioritize business needs; • Translate needs into functional requirements, business rules, use cases, user stories, and acceptance criteria; • Validate the quality, consistency, feasibility, completeness and traceability of needs and requirements; • Identify deviations, ambiguities, dependencies, risks, and clarification needs, and make recommendations; • Contribute to gap analyses and decisions related to the harmonization of processes and coverage of needs; • Participate in functional design activities and ensure alignment of solutions with approved needs; • Ensure alignment between needs, requirements, processes, design and delivery deliverables; • Answer functional questions and clarify needs throughout development and configuration; • Prepare the test strategy as well as scenarios, test cases, success criteria and datasets; • Perform and support functional, integrated, and acceptance testing, and document results and anomalies; • Confirm the compliance of the delivered features according to the needs and acceptance criteria; • Collaborate on implementation, transition, operational readiness and impact assessment activities; • Produce documentation, procedures, guides and materials for users and support teams; • Support training, coaching, knowledge transfer and change management activities; • Support deployment and post-implementation stabilization by monitoring functional issues; • Track project decisions, actions, risks, dependencies, and functional deliverables. **The profile we are looking for is as follows:** • Hold a university degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience; • Have a minimum of eight years of experience as a business analyst, business advisor or functional analyst; • Demonstrate significant experience in complex projects for the transformation or implementation of information systems; • Have participated in several phases of the project life cycle, including analysis, design, implementation, testing, implementation and stabilization; • Master the development, analysis, documentation, validation and traceability of needs and requirements; • Have experience in modeling, optimizing, harmonizing and transforming business processes; • Write functional requirements, business rules, acceptance criteria as well as test scenarios and cases; • Develop expertise in the preparation, coordination or execution of functional, integrated and acceptance tests; • Quickly understand complex business areas and make pragmatic recommendations; • Demonstrate excellent analytical, synthesizing, popularizing and problem-solving skills; • Facilitate workshops and collaborate effectively with stakeholders from different sectors; • Demonstrate influential leadership, autonomy, rigor, judgment and initiative; • Navigate with ease in a multi-stakeholder matrix environment; • Efficiently manage priorities, dependencies, and multiple folders simultaneously in a context of tight deadlines; • Communicate fluently in French, both orally and in writing; • Experience in an enterprise software implementation project; • Be familiar with SAP Fieldglass, SAP Ariba, or a comparable field service management solution (an asset); • Proficient in concepts related to supply chain, contract management, external services or construction (an asset).
