Job summary

COFOMO, a leading Canadian consulting firm, seeks an experienced Developer - Infrastructure Automation in Montreal. You will automate Linux environments using Python and Ansible, design robust CI/CD pipelines, and evolve automation tooling to improve provisioning and lifecycle management.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, document solutions, and contribute to maintaining secure, scalable infrastructure practices in a hybrid work setting. Proficiency in English is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of development experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Linux systems administration.
• Demonstrates autonomy, resourcefulness and technical curiosity.
• Strong focus on code quality, maintainability and security.
• Proven ability to document solutions, communicate effectively and transfer knowledge.
• Able to learn quickly and adapt to changing tech environments.
• Mastery of Agile, DevOps, IaC and CI/CD practices.
• Proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automation solutions to manage and administer RHEL Linux environments.
• Design scripts, roles and playbooks primarily with Python and Ansible.
• Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines to deploy and manage Linux infrastructures.
• Contribute to automation tooling for provisioning, configuring, updating and managing Linux environments.
• Evolve existing code with a focus on quality, maintainability and security.
• Collaborate with technical teams to analyze requirements and implement automated solutions.
