Job summary

COFOMO in Montreal is seeking a Software Developer – Data Platform to drive cloud infrastructure and data solutions. You will design, deploy, and maintain multi-cloud pipelines (GCP, AWS, Azure), using Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm, while collaborating with product teams to enable analytics and AI initiatives.

Both strategic and tactical, we help organizations across a wide range of industries thrive in today’s rapidly evolving world.## Our promiseHelp our clients succeed and maximize the impact of their transformation initiatives, turning them into powerful drivers of growth and innovation.## Job description**Here's a brief overview of the tasks and responsibilities you'll have :*** Develop, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure code, primarily on GCP, using Terraform;* Participate in the integration, transformation and exploitation of data as part of proofs of concept in analytics and artificial intelligence, including Power BI, machine learning and data science;* Contribute to the establishment and optimization of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines with GitHub;* Ensure the security of IT flows and solutions by applying rigorous governance and data protection principles;* Assist developers in implementing applications and data pipelines that support advanced analytics, including presenting recommended design patterns, answering technical questions, and sharing best practices;* Produce technical documentation as well as unit and data quality tests to ensure the reliability and robustness of the solutions delivered;* Collaborate with the Product Owner and Solution Architecture Consultant to design and evolve technology architectures. **The profile you are looking for is as follows:** * 5-10 years of experience in data and application solution development;* Possess the ability to work in a multi-cloud environment and contribute to the delivery of flexible and scalable architectures;* Master issues related to security, networking and data protection;* Experience in platform deployment and containerization with Terraform, as a priority, as well as Kubernetes (K8s/GKE), Docker and Helm;* Have expertise in data load management engines in GCP, Azure and AWS cloud environments as well as an interest in learning GCP, BigQuery, Composer and DataProc;* Experience in deploying and configuring identity and access management (IAM/CIAM) solutions for different types of users;* Master the deployment of networking and security configurations, including landing zones, firewalls, virtual networks (VNets), DNS, DDoS protection, and OSI model;* Knowledge of concepts related to business intelligence, big data and semantic layers, including Power BI;* Have expertise in developing data pipelines with Spark, PySpark, SQL, YAML and the Parquet format;* Master the principles and practices related to Agile/SAFe methodologies, peer review, quality assurance, continuous delivery, and DevOps integration;* Demonstrate the ability to intervene on cloud infrastructure, data pipelines, security, networking, and DevOps practices;* Demonstrate autonomy, a collaborative spirit and an excellent ability to work with multiple teams;* Demonstrate excellent communication and popularization skills with various collaborators;* Experience in data modeling and metadata management (an asset);* Knowledge of concepts related to artificial intelligence, including MCP and machine learning (an asset);* Experience in data governance, data quality, and compliance management is an asset.
