Job summary

Herc Rentals Inc. in Saskatoon is seeking a Territory Sales Representative to drive growth within the assigned territory.

You will uncover new opportunities, establish rental and sales accounts, and nurture business relationships with customers from construction and related sectors. The role requires 3–5 years of outside sales experience in equipment rental, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to travel within the territory.

Qualifications

3–5 years of outside sales experience in construction or equipment rental.
Must have valid class 5 driver’s license.
A recent driver’s abstract will be required.

Responsibilities

Increase sales and branch revenue.
Establish new rental and sales accounts through cold calling and personal visits to potential customer sites.
Develop “out of the box” sales strategies/models and evaluate their effectiveness.
Evaluate customers’ needs and build productive long-lasting relationships.
Meet personal and team sales targets.
Research accounts and generate or follow through sales leads.
Attend meetings, sales events and training to keep abreast of the latest developments.
Maintain and expand client database within your assigned territory.

Job Purpose

We are currently looking for Territory Sales Representatives to come and join our team. The successful candidatewill come from the construction industry, be a go-getter, uncovering new opportunities for the territory in which to sell while having the ability to develop and nurture business relationships with companies and individuals in their designated territory. The Sales representative’s goal is to maximize revenue for the branch and the company.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record with 3 to 5 years of outside sales experience in the construction or equipment rental industry.
Must have valid class 5 driver’s license.
A recent driver’s abstract will be required.

Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds.

Ability to perform repetitive tasks; stretch, turn, twist, and reach overhead; bend, crouch, squat, kneel, and stoop for extended periods of time.
Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time.

Type: Replacement

Pay Range:$40,000 per year + uncapped commission + Company vehicle
