Brandt Tractor Ltd in Red Deer, AB is hiring a Territory Manager - Shortline for Agriculture. You will develop and manage customer relationships, drive sales and rental revenue for New and Used Wholegoods, and uncover opportunities across Brandt's parts, service and product lines.

Brandt Tractor Ltd is currently seeking a Territory Manager - Shortline for our Red Deer Agriculture location.

The Territory Manager - Agriculture role is vital in the creation, fostering, and growth of Customer relationships within the defined area of responsibility (AOR), with the goal of increasing sales and rental revenue of New and Used Wholegoods. A successful Territory Manager (TM) will have extensive knowledge of all potential users of new and used John Deere equipment within their designated AOR, be aware and participate in the purchasing and rental activities of all Customers, and report back to the Company on activity/transaction details on a day-to-day basis. The TM will also identify other business opportunities within the AOR that may be served by other areas of Brandt - Parts & Service, Sales of other products represented or manufactured by Brandt (ex: On Highway trucks & trailers, equipment attachments, etc).

What You Will Be Responsible For

• New account creation and development.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential Customers.
• Achieve Sales targets as set out by the Company.
• Continuous development of a comprehensive Sales Pipeline of immediate/future Customer opportunities.
• Promote & sell all types of New & Used Wholegoods assigned to role.
• Promote rental and rental purchase of New and Used Wholegoods.
• Understand and apply Machine and Company Feature, Advantage, Benefit statements to drive sales success.
• Deliver continuous Prospecting activity and development of new accounts.
• Keep current on product knowledge and industry (competitive) models.
• Actively participate in and promote Brandt during industry events as required.
• Maintain accurate records of Sales activities, Customer interactions, and Quotations.
• Submit lost sales reports on a timely basis. Lost sales reports are to be filled out on all lost sales and submitted on a weekly basis to the manager. These are a must to receive, as competitive pricing is required by John Deere.

• Sales industry experience and/or a comprehensive knowledge of agriculture equipment considered an asset.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
• Proficient computer knowledge and skills including Microsoft office suite.
• Must be available to travel as needed; a recent driver's abstract and valid passport are required.
• Being bilingual (English & French) is considered an asset.
