Job summary

Brandt Tractor Ltd is currently seeking a Territory Manager for our Trois-Rivères Construction and Forestry location to grow customer relationships and drive sales and rental revenue of new and used Wholegoods. The TM will develop knowledge of potential users, manage the sales pipeline, and coordinate with Brandt’s service teams.

The role requires strong relationship skills, proven sales ability, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

  • Experience in sales within heavy equipment or construction sectors.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and generate new accounts.
  • Willingness to travel; valid driver's license and passport required.
  • Bilingual English/French is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • New account creation and development.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
  • Achieve sales targets as set out by the Company.
  • Develop a comprehensive Sales Pipeline of immediate/future opportunities.
  • Promote & sell all types of New & Used Wholegoods assigned to role.
  • Promote rental and rental purchase of New and Used Wholegoods.
  • Understand and apply Machine and Company Feature, Advantage, Benefit statements to drive sales.
  • Deliver continuous prospecting activity and development of new accounts.
  • Keep current on product knowledge and industry models.
  • Actively participate in and promote Brandt during industry events as required.
  • Maintain accurate records of Sales activities, Customer interactions, and Quotations.
  • Submit lost sales reports weekly to the manager.

Brandt Tractor Ltd is currently seeking a Territory Manager for our Trois-Rivieres Construction and Forestry location.

The Territory Manager - Construction and Forestry role is vital in the creation, fostering, and growing of Customer relationships within the defined area of responsibility (AOR) with the goal of increasing sales and rental revenue of New and Used Wholegoods. A successful Territory Manager (TM) will have extensive knowledge of all potential users of new and used Construction & Forestry equipment within their designated AOR, be aware and participate in the purchasing and rental activities of all Customers, and report back to the Company on activity/transaction details on a day to day basis. The TM will also identify other business opportunities within the AOR that may be served by other areas of Brandt - Parts & Service, Sales of other products represented or manufactured by Brandt (ex: On Highway trucks & trailers, Agricultural equipment, etc).

What You Will Be Responsible For
  • New account creation and development.

  • Submit lost sales reports on a timely basis. Lost sales reports are to be filled out on all lost sales and submitted on a weekly basis to the manager. These are a must to receive, as competitive pricing is required by John Deere.
What We Look For
  • Sales industry experience and/or a comprehensive knowledge of heavy equipment considered an asset.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Ability to build relationships and prospect new accounts.
  • Ability to present and negotiate with potential customers.
  • Highly motivated, ambitious and energetic entrepreneurial outlook.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient computer knowledge and skills including Microsoft office suite.
  • Must be available to travel as needed; a recent driver's abstract and valid passport are required.
  • Being bilingual (English & French) is considered an asset.
