Job summary

Brandt Tractor Ltd is currently seeking a Territory Manager for our St-Augustin Construction and Forestry location. The TM will create, foster, and grow customer relationships within the defined area to increase sales and rental revenue of New and Used Wholegoods.

The role requires knowledge of construction and forestry equipment, the ability to identify opportunities across Brandt’s service and parts network, and occasional travel; bilingual English and French is considered an asset.

Qualifications

  • Strong sales experience in construction/forestry equipment is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to build relationships and prospect new accounts.

Responsibilities

  • New account creation and development.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential Customers.
  • Achieve Sales targets as set out by the Company.
  • Develop a comprehensive Sales Pipeline of immediate/future Customer opportunities.
  • Promote and sell all types of New & Used Wholegoods assigned to role.
  • Promote rental and rental purchase of New and Used Wholegoods.
  • Understand and apply machine and company feature, advantage, benefit statements to drive sales success.
  • Deliver continuous prospecting activity and development of new accounts.
  • Keep current on product knowledge and industry models.
  • Promote Brandt during industry events as required.
  • Maintain accurate records of Sales activities, Customer interactions, and Quotations.
  • Submit lost sales reports on a timely basis.

Description

Brandt Tractor Ltd is currently seeking a Territory Manager for our St-Augustin Construction and Forestry location.


The Territory Manager – Construction and Forestry role is vital in the creation, fostering, and growing of Customer relationships within the defined area of responsibility (AOR) with the goal of increasing sales and rental revenue of New and Used Wholegoods. A successful Territory Manager (TM) will have extensive knowledge of all potential users of new and used Construction & Forestry equipment within their designated AOR, be aware and participate in the purchasing and rental activities of all Customers, and report back to the Company on activity/transaction details on a day to day basis. The TM will also identify other business opportunities within the AOR that may be served by other areas of Brandt – Parts & Service, Sales of other products represented or manufactured by Brandt (ex: On Highway trucks & trailers, Agricultural equipment, etc).

What You Will Be Responsible For


  • New account creation and development.

  • Build andmaintainstrong relationships with existing and potential Customers.

  • Submit lost sales reports ona timelybasis. Lost sales reports are to be filled out on all lost sales andsubmittedon a weekly basis to the manager. These area mustto receive, as competitive pricing is required by John Deere.

  • Sales industry experience and/or a comprehensive knowledge of heavy equipment considered an asset.

  • Ability to build relationships and prospect new accounts.

  • Ability to present and negotiate with potential customers.

  • Highly motivated, ambitious and energetic entrepreneurial outlook.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.

  • Proficient computer knowledge and skills including Microsoft office suite.

  • Must be available to travel as needed; a recent driver's abstract and valid passport are required.

  • Being bilingual (English & French) is considered an asset.
