Grupo NORS in Sudbury is seeking a Territory Manager to grow sales and manage a portfolio of customers in the region.

You will lead cross-functional collaboration across sales, service, and logistics to deliver on commitments; travel 2–3 days per week, build relationships, forecast sales, and support RFQs/RFPs.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary diploma or equivalent in sales or related field.
  • Experience in selling construction equipment is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel 2–3 days per week.

Responsibilities

  • Sell Nors products to increase sales within the territory.
  • Identify and develop relationships with potential customers via site visits and cold calls.
  • Provide sales forecasts on a timely basis.
  • Prepare pricing and costing sheets for deals.
  • Coordinate deal closures with customers and internal teams.
  • Support RFQs/RFPs to meet equipment/service needs.
  • Maintain CRM with client information.
  • Follow up on shipments and deliveries.

SUMMARY

Territory Managers oversee multiple customers in a certain geographical area. They often work with different departments within the company to help increase sales of new and used construction equipment. Assist with customer relations and help address customer needs.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Sell Nors products to increase the sales for business.
  • Identify and cultivate existing and new relationships with potential customers through site visits and cold calls.
  • Provide monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales forecasts on a timely basis within their respective territory.
  • Gathering trade appraisal information to ensure proper evaluation of customer trade-ins based on market conditions and resale value.
  • Preparing initial costing sheets before new deals to ensure proper/accurate pricing based on customer needs, inventory levels, equipment availability, and in comparison to competitor pricing.
  • Facilitate the accurate smooth completion of deals as liaison with customer.
  • Assist with RFQs/RFPs to ensure customer needs are met with respect to their required equipment and their service/parts needs.
  • Update client information in CRM to ensure smooth communication between the customer all departments within the company.
  • Follow up on shipments (sales/deliveries) and clients to make sure equipment are received in a timely manner.

Education/Training
  • Post-secondary diploma and/or relevant work experience in sales;
Particular Conditions
  • Overtime/ day and night shift
  • On the Road driving 2 to 3 times a week
