Role: Territory Acquisition Account Executive

The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology sales and a relentless drive for new account acquisition. This role emphasizes daily prospecting and engagement with potential clients, aiming to establish strong, long-lasting relationships.

The impact you will have: As a Territory Acquisition Account Executive (TAAE), you will acquire new SMB customers for Softchoice to help them succeed through cloud, workplace, and security technologies. You will hunt for new customers, support them with our internal resources, and showcase how Softchoice can help organizations realize success. This role offers the chance to expand your skills and partner with leading technology companies across North America.

Please note, this role is hybrid, requiring in-office presence 1-2 times per week.

Before starting, you will participate in our 4-week "Sales Academy" training program, which includes eLearning, virtual sessions, workshops, coaching, and team-building activities to set you up for success.

What you'll do:

  • Drive results with an entrepreneurial spirit by prospecting daily within your territory.
  • Focus on acquiring new accounts and expanding our customer base.
  • Support customer needs and pursue new business lines to diversify our customer portfolio.
  • Provide an exceptional customer experience through strong communication and proactive engagement.
  • Use analytical and strategic thinking to solve customer challenges.
  • Partner with technical experts, vendors, and pre-sales resources.
  • Leverage tools like Salesforce and ZoomInfo to enhance prospecting efforts (knowledge is a plus but not required).

What you'll bring:

  • At least 1 year in a ‘hunter’ sales role with a successful track record.
  • Strong prospecting skills and ability to qualify new opportunities.
  • Business acumen and a passion for learning and growth.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to learn about enterprise technology.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and driven by incentives.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and ZoomInfo is a plus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
