Job summary

Univar Solutions is seeking an Account Manager for Southwest Ontario with a focus on growing existing accounts and driving new business. The role requires territory coverage from Guelph, with regular customer visits and business development activities.

You will manage client relationships, forecast revenue, and leverage product knowledge to upsell and cross-sell. Travel within the territory and occasional Toronto office meetings are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical/science or business field is required.
• 3+ years of experience in a B2B selling role in a related industry.
• Ability to articulate value of proposed solutions to client business objectives.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned territory and attend meetings.

Responsibilities

• Call on established and prospective customers to sell company products and services.
• Proactively plan customer visits 1–2 weeks in advance.
• Serve as the main point of contact for client concerns and needs.
• Develop understanding of products to upsell and cross-sell to stakeholders.
• Coordinate with Customer Service and Operations to maintain service levels.
• Forecast sales activity and revenue on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
• Utilize Salesforce.com to manage customer information during planning phases.
• Attend team meetings and trainings at the Toronto office as required.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
