Job summary

Britannia Community Services Centre Society in Vancouver is seeking a Temporary Part-time Educator for 3-5 years. The role supports early care and learning within a 3-5 program, with a 20-hour work week and a start as soon as possible.

The successful candidate will hold a BC ECE License to Practice, a current First Aid certificate, and a clear criminal record check, with at least one year of relevant experience and strong English communication skills.

Qualifications

Britannia Child Care Department envisions early education and care spaces where children, educators, and families walk alongside each other to co-create diverse, equitable and respectful communities.

We are a successful not-for-profit provider located in Woodland Drive, Vancouver, and have been serving the Grandview-Woodland community since 1973. Qualifications

Basic ECE

Additional Qualifications

• Current BC ECE License to Practice Certificate
• Current First Aid Certification
• Clear criminal record check
• Able to communicate well in English, verbally and in writing
• Minimum one (1) year experience of working with children aged 2.5-5 years
• Able to work Monday to Friday for a minimum of 4 hours/day and up to 7.5 hours as needed (staff coverage and ratio)

Salary & Benefits

• Salary – $25.24/hour + ECE Wage Enhancement for ECE certification $6.00/hour
