Qualifications

Post Basic ECE

Additional Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills
• Experience leading a successful team
• Organized, positive and energetic
• Valid Childcare First-Aid/CPR certificate
• Criminal Record Clearance, childcare specific
• An Early Childhood Educator license to practice from the ECEBC Registry
• Knowledge of Vancouver Coastal Health's Licensing Regulations Act
• Understanding of the BC Code of Ethics
• Three references, one personal, two work related
• Proof of immunizations or an objection letter

More Details

Shifts are fixed between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:30 pm.

Shifts able to be adjusted for appointments when necessary.

Full-time position: 37 - 40 hours per week including a 30 minute break.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $22.00 up to $25 per hour + $6 Wage enhancement (IT and ECE only)

Extended Medical and Benefits Plan available after probation.

• Seek partnership with parents, as well as team members
• Plan and implement programming that reflects and is not limited to all aspects of learning including circle time, math, socials, science, fine and gross motor skills, music and movement and language development
