Job summary

Qualifications
- Bachelor of Education or equivalent with coursework in English and Social Studies.
- Experience teaching English and Social Studies in an alternative program with experiential programming.
- Experience leveraging place-based, experiential, inquiry-based programming.
- Experience teaching in a virtual learning environment.
- Experience developing and delivering online content.
- Awareness of Yukon First Nation pedagogy and curriculum.
- Knowledge of challenges in small/remote settings.
- Experience in program design and differentiated teaching.
- Experience using live web and video conferencing to deliver lessons to remote learners.
Responsibilities
- Teach Humanities 8 and 9 online.
- Support online Async High School Humanities (English First Peoples 11, Psychology 12, Foods 11/12).
- Provide in-person Learning Assistance to a number of students.
- Partner with team members to facilitate meaningful place-based programming.
