Temporary Event Screening Security Supervisor

Join GardaWorld as a Temporary Event Screening Security Supervisor for a major summer 2025 event. Lead a team of at least 150 personnel responsible for screening at various locations in Calgary and Kananaskis. This role runs from June 8 to June 18, 2025, with training scheduled the week prior.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise all screening staff
• Screen persons, belongings, and parcels for prohibited items
• Operate screening equipment such as x-ray machines and metal detectors
• Follow post orders from the site commander
• Assist visitors and high-profile clients
• Enforce access control procedures
• Provide first aid if needed
• Execute evacuation procedures in emergencies
• Coordinate with law enforcement when necessary
• Report to the site Commander

Qualifications:

• Legal authorization to work in Canada
• Experience with screening technology systems
• 1-3 years of security supervisory experience
• Leadership, operations management, and client relations skills
• Ability to pass RCMP background check
• Flexibility to work varied hours
• First Aid certification
• Valid Alberta Security Guard license
• Strong customer service skills and professionalism
