Job summary

AFIMAC Canada is actively hiring experienced Punch Press Operators and Roll Forming Operators for an upcoming assignment in Southern Ontario. This position will require you to work 12 hour shifts, 5 days per week when assigned to a project.

This is a temporary contract position, so it may not be suitable to someone currently working full time. You will earn: $35 per hour before overtime; $30 per day non-taxed meal allowance (when lodging is required); Paid Travel (up to 4 hours when lodging

Qualifications

• Experience operating Punch Press or Roll Forming equipment.
• Ability to operate, set up and troubleshoot machines.
• Strong English communication and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Punch Press or Roll Forming machine.
• Set up, monitor and troubleshoot assigned machines.
• Inspect parts to specifications.
• Make adjustments or tool changes as necessary.
• Load coils and feed presses.
• Maintain housekeeping for a safe work environment.
