Job summary

Telecon is seeking a Mini Excavator Operator/Labourer with FTTH telecommunications experience to join our Vaughan, Ontario team. This full-time role offers a competitive wage and benefits through LiUNA, along with growth opportunities and employee perks such as supplier discounts.

Responsibilities include operating mini excavators (John Deere), maintaining safety standards, and reading MC/cable drawings. A valid G license is required; DZ/AZ licenses are preferred for higher pay.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years FTTH experience.
• Minimum 2 years of Mini Ex (John Deere) experience.
• Minimum 3 years skills in operating mini ex (John Deere).
• Minimum of a valid G license; DZ/AZ license preferred with higher rate.
• Valid First Aid Certification & Confined Space.
• Strong understanding of MC and cable drawings.
• Strong understanding of locates.
• Strong understanding of CVOR requirements.
• Proficient with Tablet and Outlook.

Telecon is looking for a Mini Excavator Operator/Labourer with Telecommunications FTTH experience to join our crew based out of our yard in Vaughan, Ontario.

This is a full-time position offering a competitive wage along with the following:

• Minimum of a valid G license, preference and increased hourly rate for DZ/ AZ license
• Valid First Aid Certification & Confined Space
• Strong understanding of MC and cable plans (drawings)
• Strong understanding of locates
• Strong understanding of CVOR requirements
• Must be proficient with Tablet and cell phone and outlook
