Job summary

CIBC is seeking a Technology Lead of Production Application Support in Toronto to apply SRE principles, lead critical production support, and coordinate update plans across technology teams. You will promote resiliency, automation, and efficient incident handling in a fast-paced banking environment.

The role requires strong collaboration with partners and a deep understanding of application infrastructure, networking, and DevOps tooling.

Qualifications

Experience administering Unix/Linux/Windows environments.
Proficient shell scripting and automation capabilities.
Knowledge of DB2 and networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S).
ITIL framework experience and strong incident/change management.
Cloud (Azure) and DevOps tooling experience (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
Familiar with SRE concepts and production application support.

Responsibilities

Lead production support for critical applications and drive SRE practices.
Collaborate with technology teams to implement update and maintenance plans.
mentor and train Application Operations teams to improve resiliency and efficiency.
Serve as escalation point for complex production issues and root-cause analysis.
