Job summary

Citi is seeking a Senior Application Support Analyst, Assistant Vice President, to own mission-critical production applications and ensure stability, performance, and availability for global operations from Mississauga, Canada. You will act as a SME, coordinate across technology and business teams, and shape system reliability for traders and operations worldwide.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in application support or related technical operations.
• Experience supporting cloud-based microservices and cloud databases.
• Knowledge of Kafka or Solace and containerized environments.
• Familiar with active monitoring tools in production.
• Ability to analyze IP network traffic and understand web tech in production.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical discipline.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain production application environments to meet SLAs.
• Monitor applications across trading day and coordinate handovers.
• Assess risk of incidents, escalate and ensure resolution per SLAs.
• Lead or contribute to projects to improve stability and efficiency.
• Define scope for complex enhancements and coordinate end-to-end releases.
• Identify security vulnerabilities and contingency plans.
• Serve as SME and escalation point for stakeholders.
• Coach and mentor junior analysts on docs and procedures.
