Technicien audio-vidéo | Audio-video Technician

About the Role

Reporting to the Senior Director of Telecommunications Services at Pratt & Whitney, the Audio-Visual Technician plays a key role in setting up and supporting the company's video conferencing systems. The role involves ensuring the infrastructure's safety, availability, and reliability through design, maintenance, and support, contributing to a productive and sustainable environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate on the submission and installation of audiovisual and videoconferencing equipment.
• Integrate and set up video conferencing rooms, including monitors, sound systems, lighting, cameras, and network integration.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal partners, analyze bid requests, and ensure validity.
• Perform preventive maintenance and apply updates to equipment for optimal service.
• Stay updated on technological advancements in audiovisual systems.
• Support deployment projects involving audiovisual components.
• Manage technical support for corporate events and assist senior management with audiovisual needs.
• Respond to support requests and provide user training and support.

Required Skills and Experience

• Knowledge of Poly, Crestron, Cisco, Teams, and Zoom technologies.
• Minimum of 5 years experience as an audiovisual technician.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Interest in new audiovisual technologies.
• Teamwork, organization, autonomy, and initiative.
• Bilingual in French and English, with strong English reading and communication skills.
