Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. in Ontario is seeking a Technician, Industrial Services to safely operate vacuum equipment in an industrial setting and provide exceptional service to clients.

You will complete daily pre-trips and logs for NSC compliance, maintain detailed documentation, and uphold environmental compliance. The role requires independent work, strong safety awareness, and occasional travel for site coverage.

Qualifications

• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required.
• 2 years industrial vacuum truck and/or hydro-excavation experience preferred.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Safety-focused attitude with experience in industrial settings.
• Knowledge to perform minor maintenance on units to maintain efficient operation.
• Must be in good health and physically able to perform duties.
• Willing to accept after-hour calls when necessary.
• Some short-term travel and overnight may be required.
• Safety tickets such as First Aid/CPR, CSTS, TDG, H2S Alive are assets.
