Job summary

GFL Timmins is seeking a Technician for Industrial Services to support daily operations and specific projects in South Porcupine/Timmins, Ontario. The role includes power washing, line inspections, hazardous waste handling, and operating heavy equipment with protective gear.

Candidates should have 2-5 years in industrial cleaning, a Class G license, and be comfortable with varied shifts. AZ/DZ is an asset. Safety-focused and customer-facing on-site work is required.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years’ experience in Industrial Cleaning and Maintenance strongly preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours/shifts, days, evenings, nights & possibly weekends or holidays.
• Must be clean shaven to wear a respirator.
• Friendly and professional, able to deal directly with customer contacts on site.
• Able to multi-task, take direction and work without supervision or within a team.

Responsibilities

• Monitor day-to-day operations or assigned project.
• Maintain cleanliness of tools, equipment and Industrial Services Shop.
• Power washing and high-pressure water blasting as required.
• Line snaking, drain and pipe inspections as required.

• Operate aerial boom lift/scissor lift as required.
