Job summary

GFL Timmins is seeking an industrial laborer to join its liquids line of business, performing on-site cleaning, equipment maintenance and operation of trucks and lifts. You will work on power washing, line snaking, and industrial waste handling.

The role requires 2–5 years’ experience, wearing respirator, valid Class G license, and readiness for flexible shifts, including nights or weekends. AZ/DZ is an asset; prior vacuum truck or water-blasting exposure is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years’ experience in Industrial Cleaning and Maintenance strongly preferred.
• Must be clean shaven in order to wear a respirator.
• Class G license required.
• Experience working in Industrial settings an asset.
• Previous experience with Vacuum Trucks, Industrial Power-washing or Water-blasting, or Liquid Waste Industry experience strongly preferred.
• Previous experience with Confined Space Entry or Work at Heights an asset.
• Ability to work flexible hours/shifts, days, evenings, nights & possibly weekends or holidays.
• AZ/DZ License is considered an asset.
• Must be comfortable with driving and maneuvering a pick-up truck and trailer unit.
• Friendly and professional, able to deal directly with customer contacts on site.
• Ability to multi-task, take direction and work without supervision or within a team at times.
• Working at heights greater than 3 meters.
• Will be required to wear protective gear i.e.; fall arrest, respirator, tyvek suit etc.

• Operate Pick-up truck, utility trailer, forklift, excavator, bobcat, etc.
• Operate Aerial boom lift/Scissor Lift as required.
