Job summary

Bosch Building Technologies is seeking a Technician II for structured cabling in Ontario/Toronto. You will install and service cabling infrastructure for Data, AV, and CCTV, and support network racks in server rooms.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of structured cabling experience, a valid driver’s license, and strong communication and problem-solving skills. Occasional night shifts, travel, and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in structured cabling installation and servicing.
• Valid driver’s license with clean abstract and no restrictions.
• Experience pulling, terminating, and testing cat5/6 and fiber optic cables.
• Experience installing racks, cabinets, and other cabling infrastructure.
• Experience with low voltage systems (CCTV, access control, AV, wireless, nurse call, RTLS).
• Able to work at heights and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong problem-solving.

As a Technician II Structured Cabling with Bosch Building Technologies, you will be a key contributor to the installation, maintenance, and support of structured cabling systems for our clients. Your technical expertise and attention to detail ensure the delivery of reliable, high‑quality infrastructure solutions.

Responsibilities

• Install and service cabling infrastructure and devices for Data and Audio Visual andCCTV;includespre-wiring, installation, termination, labeling, testing and reporting per specifications and drawings.
• Install network racks and cabinets in server rooms.
• Interact with customers and prospects, ensuring all inquiries are handled professionally.
• Adhere to Bosch Building Technology'sQuality and Safety programs.
• Complete detailed and accurate documentation, including OHS checks, packing slips, checklists, as-builts, test results.
• You may be required to work “night shifts” when needed based on project/service requirements.
• Consistently provide high levels of customer service.
• Travel and overtime may be requested with this position on an ad hoc basis.
• Perform additional duties as required.

Required Qualifications

• 3 - 5 years of experience in structured cabling installation & servicing.
• Valid Driver’s License with clean abstract and no restrictions.
• Experience pulling, terminating and testing cat5/6 and fiber optic cables.
• Experience installing other cabling infrastructure (racks, cabinets,etc).
• Experience installing other low voltage systems (CCTV, access control, AV, wireless, unified communication, nurse call, RTLS).
• Flexibility to work in a variety of environments, from construction sites to finished corporate offices.
• Comfortable working at heightsand must be able to lift upwards of 50 pounds.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with keen attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in electrical, telecommunications, electronics, or equivalent is considered an asset.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., BICSI, CFOT, Specific Manufacturer training) are a plus.

Salary Range

$26.00 – $32.00ph (DOE)
